''Waving Bodies'' workshop series focus on the intersection of queer and migrant identities and provide a safe space for participants to reflect on their own stories and memories through writing. We will be exploring the narrative potential of the unconscious and our senses through imaginative practice. As we pursue questions such as how to connect from personal narrative to universal and from individual experience to collective feeling, we will also be looking into the ways we connect and engage with resistance and empowerment. The workshops include four different modules. The project in collaboration with Maviblau is supported by Fonds Soziokultur.

Cruising Galaxies - 2022
Cruising Galaxies (Weltraummigration) is a creative writing workshop that was held in Berlin and Istanbul. The project mainly focuses on utopia construction through the perspectives of queer people with migration background. The project also aims to deconstruct binaries in between utopia - dystopia by including Non-eurocentric perspectives. The first workshop in Berlin was held on 27th of May at Migrationsrat. The second one was supposed to take place on 24th of June however had to be held on 28th of June in Istanbul. The research project is supported by Fonds Darstellende Künste with funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media within the program NEUSTART KULTUR.
